Hey MetroPark blog!
I frequently DJ at MetroPark, Stonestown Galleria in SF, CA. I am also co-founder of GoldSweat.com, a new entertainment / production collective that is focused on a united front towards nightlife community. We’ve had our ear to the streets of SF for awhile and finally started to give back what we’ve started to take in. I used to be music director for KCPR, 91.3fm, Cal Poly Radio and also hosted my own radio show called Club91 where I showcased the latest in multi-genre’d dance music.
*My radio show was probably one of the first stations in California that played Justice, MSTRKRFT, Diplo, Switch, Blaqstarr, Chromeo, Man Man, Deerhoof, Franz Ferdinand, Handsome Boy Modeling School, The Gorrilaz, Caural, Cat Power, Veronica Lipgloss, etc. Perks about being music director for a college radio station š
I am inquiring about any sort of involvement with MetroPark and its association with music/art/culture/urban diversity. I feel that GoldSweat would be a great contributor towards the market Metro Park attracts. I also feel that our image is somewhat of a nod to much of what MetroPark presents itself as. I guess that is why I enjoy playing in the store.
I hope someone gets back to us about this email. I think it would be a great thing is MetroPark & GoldSweat could collaborate.
Thank You
Just Loco aka Ryan Rosario
