We all have that favorite t-shirt or sweatshirt that we could live in, or an item that holds special meaning that you just aren’t ready to part with. But there comes a time when that garment has been lived in a little too much or no longer has a purpose other than sentimental value. The Rememberme Chair by Tobias Juretzek takes those dearly loved garments and gives them life again, but as furniture. Juretzek studied furniture design and exhibition architecture. His design not only reflects formal aspects, but also considers the virtues of things. He has found a way to preserve the personal value and sentiment of certain pieces and presses the garments into chair form. So, instead of having to donate them to charity or sell them at a yard sale or consignment shop, that beloved item that has worn out its welcome on your body can stay close to your ass heart.

How unusual. What an interesting idea.
