Hello World

Who doesn’t love a cool Lego creation? Making the rounds on the internets is the Lego Printer. Designed, built and coded from scratch by b3ta user squirrelfantasy, the “Lego felt tip 110” puts our childhood lego creations to shame. The printer is connected to an Apple Mac and uses analog motor electronics, sensors and a printer driver, the USB interface uses a “wiring” board and is not a kit that you can buy, as clarified on the YouTube page. With the ink from a felt tip marker and a little help from some tiny, yellow-faced workers, it prints a surprisingly detailed image.

Yet another cool Lego creation? Yes.
Practical? Nah.
